Debut CD of Maartje Meijer: composer, vocalist & pianist, with beautiful guest appearances by Jesse van Ruller, Joris Roelofs & The New Amsterdam Voices. Modern jazz record influenced by very different artists, such as Brahms, Randy Newman, Sufjan Stevens and power band Rudder. All songs are written by Meijer, except Wayne Shorter’s Footprints that she arranged. CD release happened at the Bimhuis, Amsterdam, October 27th 2013.
