About the Album
This new song is a fusion of modern jazz and the "Rio de la Plata" essence, with the Argentinian Samba. This particular ensemble plays with a strong musicality of the region combining the Uruguayan-Argentine cultures. Pez de colores is more than ten years old and was conceived during my residence in Buenos Aires, where I studied Jazz. Over time, I worked on different ideas until I found musicians I wanted to record with, and what I expected to express with this composition. The recording was made in Patagonia, Argentina, during the production of my second album, Fuego (2024).
