Fiona's Comments

If you haven't heard Yotam Silberstein, pick a bad day in want of something beautiful, his tunes will make it right.

About the Album

The music is comprised of mostly my compositions, which we have been playing on tours around the world for the last couple of years. I've been traveling constantly and studying a lot of music from all over, but mostly the music of Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Venezuela, and North Africa. I feel like all of these new influences, combined with my knowledge of jazz, blues, Israeli and Arabic music, has merged into something very unique and beautiful. Upon finishing the recording, I spent a lot of time in the studio with the great David Darlington – one of the best mixing and mastering engineers in the world – and together we finalized the album with a lot of care and love into each and every second of it.
