About the Album

This tune features my band Personal Mythologies, off our first EP "Personal Mythologies, Pt. 1". After the initial melodic statement, the keys and saxophone play alternating solo passages on a form not exactly the same through out. Material from the the tune is reorganized throughout in a smooth and ever-flowing way, until a restatement of the the original material is brought back. Drummer, percussionist and composer David Andrew Moore moved to NYC in 2007. Since that time, he has performed with Slavic Soul Party, Andy Statman, Solomon Douglass, Dotan Negrin, Adam Minkoff, and many others. David can be heard on many recordings, including Tim Byrnes' (Kayo Dot, Friendly Bears) Hazel Rah and Future Bar-B-Que with Ches Smith. While still a student at Berklee College of Music, David performed and recorded with his own DAMBand, and with other Boston area jazz and improvising musicians, including slide-guitar guru Dave Tronzo. With Personal Mythologies, David has attempted to make the inner world of dreams a public experience, and has the help of great musicians in doing so.

The band is:

Sean McCluskey: keys;

Michael Eaton: saxes;

John Tate: bass;

Sofia Zaitseva: viola.
