About the Album

Darrell Katz's newest, aptly named ensemble Oddsong is unusual in both its instrumentation (strings, saxophone, marimba, voice) and expression. The bluesy title track from their debut CD features the words of Katz's late wife, poet Paula Taturnis, and the vocal stylings of Rebecca Shrimpton.
