About the Album

I've been fortunate in my life to have been able to travel the world and have visited five Continents in search of music. On each trip I've been able to connect with many musicians who share my love of jazz and speak the jazz language. In 2008 I made my first trek to Australia and have made almost a dozen pilgrimages back to that amazing country since. On each visit I've had the blessing of meeting wonderful musicians with whom I share many common musical sensibilities. It was in Melbourne, Australia that I met musicians with whom I felt the strongest connection. This project is the realization of my long desire to record with these fantastic players and I'm thrilled to be able to share this music with you
