Part IV of the "Fertile Soil Suite," this composition explores feelings associated with often being overlooked, ignored, or underestimated as a state in the middle of the country. It was written by Mike Conrad for the Iowa Jazz Composers Orchestra and features Robert Espe (alto saxophone), Jon Ailabouni (trumpet), and Steve Grismore (guitar).
