“Escalator pour les fonds marins” is grounded in a slow double bass ostinato by Théo Girard, gradually joined by Benjamin Flament’s augmented drums. Metallic resonances (bowls, squares, objects) shape an immersive aquatic landscape. Nicolas Naudet’s bass clarinet moves freely within it, improvising like a shifting presence in these sonic depths.
