About the Album

Within the depths of our souls, we all experience various forms of desire-love, solitude, and compassion. These yearnings, these colors of life, are what I sing about in my album, 'Longing.' The 3rd track, "Duke Ellington's Sound of Love," is a chill and mellow jazz ballad originally composed by great bassist/composer Charles Mingus. I want breezily as tributes to him as he did for Duke Ellington on this beautiful jazz song.
