About the Album

Dancing On Bentwood Chairs is the final single and title track from Billy Marrows’ second studio album, out 13 Feb 2026.

Upliftingly melodic, with an infectious drums/double bass-driven odd-meter groove, it draws on African Highlife while remaining rooted in contemporary jazz. Expressive guitar and sax add to its emotional depth.

It follows Marrows’ debut album Penelope (Self Produced, 2024), which was shortlisted for Parliamentary Jazz Awards 2025 Album of the Year.
