About the Album

Title track of our new album. Inspired by a passage in Simon Armitage's translation of "Gawain and the Green Night", a magical and mysterious story. Before composing this I'd been listening to Trio Medieval's album A Worcestor Ladymass on ECM. Album personnel: Martin Pyne (vibes, electronics), Jeff Spencer (bass guitar), and Trevor Davies (drums).

Tracks

Waltzing On The Devil's Ground; Song For Grace Melbury; oom? ….PAH!; By Tapering Torchlight; Over And Over; Remembering; For Ed; A Stillness At Appomattox (no more killing and an open road home); Daph and Chlo On The Wobbly Bridge; Siren Song; Hushabye Mountain.

Personnel

Additional Personnel

Martin Pyne: vibraphone, electronics, gato drum; Jeff Spencer: bass guitar; Trevor Davies: drums; Pete Judge: trumpet (3).
