About the Album
But Not For Me follows, a very marked revision of Gershwin’s famous jazz standard. The swing disappears completely to give way to a broken and contemporary beat. The song is characterized by a riff proposed by piano and double bass that in the intro and bridge develops through an irregular metric on an odd tempo meter. The revision made by the Apulian pianist leaves unchanged and inviolate the formal structure of the theme rearranging the initial part and making it more "dark" emotionally through the change of color in the minor key, maintaining the same through the use of a progression of only two minor chords.
