About the Album
"Bahia" marks the release from the 11th Meretrio album "20 Years." This composition mixes melodies from the traditional music from Northeast Brazil with influences from Jazz and contemporary music. The use of loop machine is part of Meretrio´s sound and this tune shows how its use helps to mix guitar and trombone sounds in the live performance. Meretrio has toured many times in Europe and Brazil and twice in Australia
