About the Album

A fusion of traditional Native American music, modern jazz and chamber music. The Ghost Dance was a messianic movement that swept through the Plains region in the late 19th century. This particular Ghost Dance was sung by the Arapaho people. The track features the work of Hawk Henries, a member of the Nipmuc tribe, playing a Native flute that is 200 years old.
