About the Album
Brazil's Best Kept Secret (until now!) is the outstanding vocalist Luiz Millan. His new album, 'Brazilian Match' was released this past Spring and has received worldwide acclaim and attention. A highlight from the album is "Andar Descalço (Barefoot)" featuring the multi-GRAMMY® award winning trumpeter Randy Brecker. Brecker's love affair with Brazilian music began exactly 50 years with the famous album 'Donato/Deodato' by João Donato & Eumir Deodato, issued in 1973. Now, five decades later, Brecker's impeccable phrasing and groove shines on this samba delight. Listen for his soaring solo, which showcases why the trumpeter is regarded as one of the great all-time masters of his instrument.
