Guitarist Andy Rothstein returns with the dynamic new jazz fusion single, About Time. This release follows an impressive streak on the Roots Music Report Top 50 Jazz Song Chart, where the band’s previous single Circuit Breaker (Vermicious Knid Music, 2026) spent eight weeks in the top two positions—holding #1 for the majority of its run—hot on the heels of the 14-week run at #1 with an instrumental cover of Bob Dylan’s It's All Over Now, Baby Blue (Vermicous Knid Music, 2025) These achievements build upon the established momentum of the band's 2022 album, Truth Against the World (Vermicious Knid Music, 2022), which finished as the #1 Top Fusion Album of the year.

Rooted firmly in modern jazz fusion, "About Time" blends sophisticated horn arrangements with guitar-led energy that incorporates elements of bebop and rock, driven by a highly catchy, accessible melody. Produced and co-written by Steve Jankowski, the track features a powerhouse ensemble including Steve on trumpet, Ken Gioffre on saxophone, Tony Senatore on bass, Tom Cottone on drums, and D Pappas on keyboards.

Rothstein’s guitar work bridges the gap between contemporary jazz and blues-rock dynamics, cementing his place as a distinctive voice in modern jazz fusion.
