Vlatko Stefanovski: Until I Satisfy My Artistic Appetite

Read "Vlatko Stefanovski: Until I Satisfy My Artistic Appetite" reviewed by Nenad Georgievski

It is not easy to describe what Vlatko Stefanovski does with his guitar; it seems that he has been on a quest for his whole career to discover the real possibilities of the instrument. People tend to believe he was born with a guitar in his hands, and this is hard to argue. For the last thirty years his work, both with his band Leb i Sol and his solo output, has reflected his diverse tastes and delicate guitar playing. ...

Vlatko Stefanovski and Miroslav Tadic featuring Teodosii Spasov: Treta Majka

Read "Treta Majka" reviewed by Nenad Georgievski

In Macedonian, “Treta Majka" ("Third Mother") is actually a quirky slang expression that means a third attempt or third take. Krushevo was a collection of traditional Macedonian reels, tunes and dances played on two acoustic guitars, usually in an odd-meter rhythms and ...
