Album Description
This is the first big band album from vocalist Brian De Lorenzo, and features arrangements by Tom LaMark with accompaniment by The Tom LaMark Orchestra, performing a swinging collection standards with fresh interpretations. Most of the tracks are associated with the greatest singers of mid-century standards, including Frank Sinatra; Sammy Davis, Jr.; Tony Bennett; Rosemary Clooney; Ella Fitzgerald; Judy Garland; and Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gormé, with a surprise track written in the 1970s that fits perfectly with this colletion.
A highlight of the album is the inclusion of rarely heard verses.
