Album Description
"The Good Book Suite," Quentin Walston's newest album, was inspired by his faith and the Scripture which saw him through a wave of challenges. Quentin composed the suite and recorded it with his trio (piano, bass, and drums). The album encourages listeners to reflect on faith and find strength during life’s challenges. The title and music of each movement is inspired from passages in The Bible such as: "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God" - Isaiah 41:10 Where there are no lyrics in this album, there are core musical themes that represent the verses chosen in the books of Isaiah and Matthew. Quentin states, “I composed “Fear Not” in a season of my life where outside pressures and stresses should have overwhelmed me. In the same manner that the song progresses by repeating a memorable theme, I overcame these challenges by returning again and again to the promises of God’s Word”. He hopes that “The Good Book Suite” inspires others to persevere through challenges.
