Album Description
The Eulipian Project (Drivetime) was founded in 1977 by Gene Terramani, Chris Friedrich and Bernie Capodici. The project encompassed what would become Jazz Fusion in the 80’s to say this group was way ahead of the curve is an understatement. An all original quartet featuring Gene Terramani on Guitar, Chris Friedrich on Bass, Bernie Capodici on Congas and Percussion, Steve Oliver on Sax and Rich Wierback on Drums, The Eulipian Project wrote the book on what Rock, Jazz, Fusion was to become. The unit went on to perform many concerts and radio concerts from WRTI with Samir Ali Suduk and their version of Creator Has A Master Plan that became Samir’s theme song for his radio show Journey To Mecca. The band disbanded in 1979 but became the stepping-stone and launched the next endeavor.
