Album Description

One night each month in 2018 Think Less, Hear More performed an improvised soundtrack to a different movie at Three Keys at Ace Hotel New Orleans. The movies are projected without sound as the band (facing the screen with the audience) improvise a soundtrack. Each performance was recorded, edited, and mixed and became Think Less, Hear More’s debut release The Contenders I. The selected tracks for The Contenders I showcase not only some of the best performances but also a wide array of New Orleans musicians who were kind enough to offer voice.
