Ayumi Kobayashi is a Japanese clarinetist, composer, and arranger whose music is inspired by the beauty of nature and the rich traditions of Brazilian music. Through original instrumental works, she combines the expressive voice of the clarinet with the rhythms and harmonies of bossa nova and other Brazilian styles.
In 2024, she released her debut full-length digital album, seek, featuring original compositions that reflect her love of nature and Brazilian music. Her work invites listeners into peaceful soundscapes shaped by lyrical melodies and warm acoustic textures.
Alongside composing and recording, Ayumi performs live as a clarinetist and continues to create original music that connects landscapes, emotion, and storytelling.
