Album Description
The album is a result of interwoven contemporary compositions and archived recordings from folk songs that were never ever recorded or performed in public due to the case that their original language (Macedonian as spoken secretly for about a century in the North of Greece) of these songs was banned in Greece. RODEN VODEN is the closing part of a trilogy after DINE DONEFF – NOSTOS (recorded 1995 & released 1999, LYRA, Athens) and DINE DONEFF – ROUSILVO (recorded 2004 & released 2018 by Nered in cooperation with ECM Records, Munich) link: https://ecmrecords.com/product/rousilvo-dine-doneff/
