It started with a simple concept: short earworm songs, cool harmonic elements, as many friends involved as possible. Across six months, that initial seed blossomed into a wildly imaginative 15-track LP with 12 different artists contributing sounds, and a new gem in the world of jazz crossover songwriting.
Contemplative pop boom-bap, aggressive blast beat rock jam, Zelda vibes, Stevie-esque plant odyssey — for each song on his new album MENAGERIE, Grant Richards wrote a sonic description. These are just a few of them. With over 200,000 streams since it’s release, audiences all over the world have been enjoying the tapestry of songs presented on this album.
