Album Description

After performing at the Morejazz Series in Maputo, Mozambique in 2012 with his band, Soul Makossa Gang, Manu Dibango and Moreira Chonguica about doing an album of evergreen jazz standards. M & M is that album. Recorded at Ferber Studios in Paris France and mastered in Cape Town, South Africa, this collaboration is a way of reviving great well known music and giving it an African facelift.
