Album Description

Halite, the second release of Ghezzi's series Minerals, is a collaboration with pianist Ed Blunt and it is based on their love for songs and storytelling. In this collaboration their aim to shed light on some small stories and feelings that we all share. Their journey starts with Odio l’Estate, an Italian standard about craving for the peace of mind that winter brings to recover from a broken heart. It develops with Tenderly chanting about the delicate moments in an embrace. And ends with the joy felt On The Sunny Side of The Street. Blunt and Ghezzi have collaborated for many years in Stanza Da Tre where they explore songs in different languages from various traditions and genres. Their creative connection has developed not only in music but also in art and illustration with their series "Stations of the World" published on Conde Nast Traveller China.
