Album Description

The Vibration Black Finger is the brainchild of Lascelle Lascelles (aka Lascelle Gordon), a prominent figure in London's vibrant music scene. Known for his work as a house DJ at the Wag Club in the 80s and as a tour DJ for A Certain Ratio, he was a founding member of Acid Jazz pioneers The Brand New Heavies. Lascelle has also collaborated with various artists, including Mr. Scruff and Beth Orton and this album is a great return that is rich in spiritual references, 70s jazz and post-punk attitudes. These dense, multi-layered tracks are exquisite for close listing on hi-fidelity systems.
