Album Description

Third album by Ryan Keberle Collectiv do Brasil, "Choro das Aguas," celebrates the genius of Ivan Lins on the occasion of his 80th birthday on June 16 (a birthday he shares with Keberle). In choosing material for the album, Ryan ended up drawing from Lins's "first three or four albums [in the 1970s]. . . . There's a youthful energy to it & they knew they were onto something radically new & beautiful."
