Circumstance led to status held
The past, unchanging, left the future spelled
Not one believed in talents therein
Passed years proved otherwise… much to chagrin

Resentment contaminates progress made
Ruinous thoughts, self-doubt, self-pity invade
Insecurity breeds the conscience deep
Despite all logic, tragic sentiments seep

Faith clench the spirit tethered
Dispense enmity and leave ardor unfettered
Charge forlorn cogitation – be gone the day!
Belief of gifts inherent must outweigh

Perseverance in craft proves one true solution
Time steady extends no substitution
Opposition in art triumphed through attrition
Desist fallacious assumption - dispatch to remission!

Acceptance of essence an ultimate key
Love for the self a requisite degree
Invigorate ambition upon conviction accrued
Transcend bias amidst expectations renewed

For to ascend destiny endures a lifetime’s fortitude.
