Szymon Mika - Agma is an exciting new album by Szymon Mika, one of Europe's most distinguished guitarists, known for his genre- defying music and refined, distinctive sound that sets him apart on the international stage. Agma brings together a diverse group of musicians from various cultural and artistic backgrounds. The lineup features Song Yi Jeon, a unique vocalist from South Korea, who, along with Szymon Mika, first crossed paths at Jazzcampus Basel, a renowned center for jazz education. The ensemble also includes Oskar Török, a Slovak trumpeter renowned for his soft, expressive tone; Andrzej Święs, one of Poland's most exceptional double bass players; and Péter Somos, a Hungarian virtuoso drummer and percussionist currently active on the Berlin music scene. More than just a musical ensemble, Agma represents a symbol of international collaboration and artistic synergy. Mika's music is characterized by deep emotion, passion, and creativity, offering a fresh and unique contribution to the contemporary jazz scene.
