2023 Roundup: 2023 Roundup
2023 was a very good year for All About Jazz in terms of website expansion as we completed several projects including v2 of our newsletter platform, v1 of our survey platform, and a publicity firm client tracking service. Our website redesign project began in 2023 and we'll start to see the transformation of AAJ's appearance in the coming weeks.

Thanks to several twofers, the 2023 Song of the Week playlist ended up with 75 songs and nearly 8 hours of music. We've embedded the playlist below for your listening pleasure.

We published 17 year-end lists and we wanted to feature them all in one place, so here you go...

2023 Popular Reads & Plays

Our top read lists tend to favor articles published earlier in the year so it should be noted that Robert Middletown's 72 Jazz Thrillers—a 12-part series which began its publication run on October 2—has been collectively read nearly 83,000 times (as of January 4, 2024).

For the Love of Jazz
Get the Jazz Near You newsletter All About Jazz has been a pillar of jazz since 1995, championing it as an art form and, more importantly, supporting the musicians who create it. Our enduring commitment has made "AAJ" one of the most culturally important websites of its kind, read by hundreds of thousands of fans, musicians and industry figures every month.
