Fantasy

Wide-Eyed Lounge Cats
Duration: 10:08
1,594 views

Wide-Eyed Lounge Cats are an Americana jam/jazz sextet born in the living rooms and dive bars of the Fells Point district in Baltimore, MD. The band released their first full length record, Le Cirquez, in December of 2019, but the post production led into the COVID-19 pandemic and the Cats found themselves unable to promote the record through live shows, struggling in an environment unfortunately familiar to so many musicians and performers at the time. In the midst of this uncertainty, a long-time artistic collaborator and friend of the Cats, Michael Ivan Schwartz of Loud Communications, approached the band about doing music videos as a way to adapt to the lockdown and keep the music alive. Thanks to Schwartz's direction and the band's shared artistic vision, Fantasy garnered much attention upon its release, and was selected for the 2021 London Music Video Festival. The song and video features guest vocal appearance from Katie Bowers.

Isabelle

Edward Partyka
Duration: 8:09
1,027 views

Ed Partyka and Julia Oschewsky make music that is original and unique. To wit: Is there another vocalist who writes deep, probing, singable songs about life and love arranged for a thoroughly modern, 18-piece jazz ensemble with a beefed low end of tuba, bass trombone, baritone saxophone and contrabass clarinet? I don’t think so. (And if there is, will you let us know?)
