Jeff Dingler

Jeff Dingler is as upright/electric bassist living in New York City. Comfortable in a straight ahead context or playing world music, Jeff has worked in groups ranging from tours with The Nelson Riddle Orchestra, The Addis Project, to recording modern jazz with Ecuadorian group Koyari. Currently Jeff works with numerous projects as a sideman- The Adam Makowicz Trio, pianist Dave Frank's Quartert, Kurdish musician Ozan Aksoy's group, in addition to Brad Shepik and Seido Salifoski's Balkan Peppers. Jeff has released two records as a bandleader- Taking Root and In Transit. In addition to his work as a rhythm section player, Jeff is noted for his compositions and lyrical soloing technique.

Founder/Chairman of New York Free Music Committee presenting summer concert series at Forest Park Bandshell in Queens for almost 40 years. Bass player on historical recordings with Albert Ayler, Patty Waters, Burton Greene, Frank Wright and many other innovators. As a concert organizer he has always emphasized mixing presentations of avant-garde jazz and new music, often combined with classical soloists, poets, and cutting edge rock groups for public audience events

Kris Monson

Kris Monson is a bassist and composer pursuing a Master’s of Music in Double Bass Performance at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City. A product of the rich central Virginia jazz community, Kris studied with bassist Pete Spaar and trumpeter John D’earth while an undergraduate student at the University of Virginia. After completing a double major in systems engineering and music at UVA, Kris has continued to play professionally all over the Washington, D.C. and New York City metropolitan areas in venues such as the Kennedy Center, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, and Smoke Jazz Club


Tinkr Barfield

TINKR BARFIELD COMPOSER -PERFORMER - PRODUCER - MUSICIAN Eluriel “Tinkr” Barfield releases his new single, City Blues, from his forthcoming album Blended on January, 8th 2018. Tinkr grew up Brooklyn New York’s Red Hook Projects where he began playing bass at age 8 and impressed area professionals with his prowess. By age 13, he was performing with such local groups as the Soul Heat Band and The Winners. At age 18, he met Nick Ashford and Valerie Simpson who catapulted his professional career to national prominence. Joining forces with Ashford and Simpson was only the beginning
