This very pleasing offering came as a result of Gloria Cooper's editing of the Second Floor Music publication Sing Jazz. I rather wish that Gloria Cooper didn’t play such nice, tasteful piano; that would make it easier to praise her singing as the highlight of this admirable debut album.
