Human Pieces is on the surface the result of a planned encounter between four musicians that had never played together. On the deeper side it was more an exercise in the act of punctuating time and friendship, of nurturing human contact and the desire to create an opportunity; kind of like throwing some- thing into space and see fi it would end up orbiting anything-a star maybe.
