I worked almost a decade off and on in a loose Columbia Gorge jazz compendium called the Underwood Jazz Society, led by Mike Stillman, a great sax player. This last gig was in June 2020 as Covid shut everything down, and he was hospitalized two days later with metastatic cancer. That was the only real gig I had from 2020 until now.
