Yellowjackets ArtsCONNECT Tour Sponsored by Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation

Boston, MA The Yellowjackets will appear in September and October 2004 as part of an eight-city tour supported by funding from the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation ArtsCONNECT Program. The purpose of the ArtsCONNECT Program is to strengthen the presentation of performing artists by supporting artist/presenter collaborations and partnerships anchored in the states and jurisdictions of the mid-Atlantic region.

The tour will visit both urban and rural communities in the states of Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia, and includes eight full-length concert performances, and eleven supplementary educational programs. Supplementary educational outreach programs will reach groups ranging from the African-American community of urban Harrisburg, to rural communities throughout the Appalachian coal-mining region, to the inner-city minority community in Pittsburgh.
