Want to Enter the Grammys? Here's the Deal...

Say what you will about the Grammy selection and voting process, not to mention the recent round of category chops. This is a highly flawed and subjective process, but this is also an award that most musicians would die to clutch—even if they say otherwise. And now, the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards submissions process is ramping up.

Of course, this comes with a few catches, especially if yourgenre category was recently eliminated (ie, Latin, Hawaiian, Blues, and other genres). That's another discussion entirely, though the process for submitting for Grammy consideration officially gets started on July 6th. Only registered labels (or media companies) and Academy Members can submit materials, and only music commercially released in the US is eligible.

You can register as a media company through July 27th here. After that, another round exists for releases happening in August and September. That schedule is here.
