Vocalist Stacey Kent to Headline New Cabaret The Hideaway Cabaret & Supper Club June 1st & 2nd

Candid Records recording artist Stacey Kent is pleased to announce her appearance at the grand opening for the new venue The Hideaway Cabaret & Supper Club June 1st & 2nd.

After landing a plum role as sultry chanteuse in Ian McKellen's film Richard III Stacey Kent's recording career began to soar. Recognized by legendary record producer Alan Bates as an extraordinary talent Stacey was signed to his Candid Records jazz label, which this year celebrates its 40th anniversary. Since 1996 Stacey has released four albums, Close Your Eyes, The Tender Trap, Let Yourself Go, a tribute to her idol Fred Astaire and her latest effort, Dreamsville. All have been critically praised on both sides of the Atlantic. Stacey's big U.S. break came after a profile by Dr. Billy Taylor on the CBS television program “CBS Sunday Morning".
