New York, NY-- Arts for Art is proud to present Vision Collaboration Nights. Vision art or “freedom art" is not limited by any particular tradition but may in any instance utilize any tradition. It is art built on the development of craft, with each artist using a voice that is uniquely their own. It is art with a most decidedly disciplined disregard for tradition and boundaries. Arts for Art has laid the groundwork for Vision Collaborations presentations both within the music and dance communities through our Vision Festival presentations. Audience interest in the dance component of the Vision Festival has made the Vision Collaborations the essential next step in our efforts to elevate this approach to choreography and improvisation.

Vision Collaboration Nights brings together three unique visionary dancer/improviser/choreographers. All work with experimental jazz, as well as other media. They see themselves outside of the main stream, following their own, personal concepts. Yet more and more there is the need for community. This coming together is not about presenting work that is similar. It is about presenting work that is multi-media, works with avantjazz, but most of all work that shows a strong vision.
