Spotify today announced major upgrades that make the streaming music service more compatible with iTunes. In fact Spotify's hope is that users will switch to its new platform to manage their iPod and buy tracks from the new lower priced Spotify store. Playlists have always been central to the Spotify experience and today's changes also make sharing and buying entire playlists eaisier. This official Spotify video explains many of the upgrades:
