Vibist, Jerry Tachoir clinic/concert tour

Jazz vibist and educator, Jerry Tachoir recently presented improvisation and advanced harmony clinics at several universities in Oklahoma and Tennessee. In an effort to help students develop a vocabulary for jazz improvisation, Jerry Tachoir offers concepts and suggestion to explore the inner mind of the improvising artist. Concerts and clinics were held at Univ. of OK in Norman, Univ. of Central OK in Edmond, SW OK State in Weatherford, and University of Memphis. Education is key in prolonging the understanding of improvisation and jazz music in general. We need need to do whatever it takes to keep jazz alive, says Jerry.
