Tony Scott Dies at 85

American legendary jazz musician Tony Scott died peacefully in Rome, Italy on the 28th of March at 9pm from aggravations from a prostrate tumor condition. He was 85 years old.

His funeral took place on Saturday March 31st at 5pm in Rome at the 'Chiesa degli Artisti' with music performed by friend Harold Bradley and daughter Monica Sciacca amongst other musician friends. His body will repose in Salemi (Sicily).

He is survived by his wife Cinzia Scott and his two daughters from his previous marriage with Pauline Wong - Nina Shaka (born Sciacca-Scott) and Monica Sciacca.

A CD A Jazz Life will be released April 11 in the US, recorded last year in 2006. Lately he recorded for youngest daughter Monica Sciacca's upcoming debut CD.
