It can't get much better than having the pair extraordinaire Ron McMaster and Al Schmit of Capitol work their magic on singer/songwriter Tony Adamo's new CD, Straight Up Deal. Ron McMaster completed the mastering while thirteen-time Grammy award winner Al Schmit mixed three of the songs. McMaster has mastered albums and CDs for the Bluenote Jazz Records catalog, Red Hot Chili Peppers, David Bowie and many movie soundtracks. Adamo's producer, Jerry Stucker, loaded Straight Up Deal with the following hired guns: Eddie Henderson, Paul Jackson, Mike Clark, Mic Gillette, Stephen “Doc" Kupka, Skip Mesquite, Ernie Watts, Freddie Washington, Neil Larson, James Gadson, Paul Van Wegeningen, Shota Osabi, Sandy Griffith, Kenneth Nash and Roberto Quintana.
