Title Change For Sherman Ferguson's JazzUnion CD !!!

The name of the “Debut"CD of Sherman Ferguson's JazzUnion was given incorrectly in the previous All About Jazz News. The correct title is: “WELCOME TO MY VISION..." Same GREAT JAZZ...Just a more accurate title, since this band was in reality the idea/concept...Vision of Sherman Ferguson's,while some had doubts. After all a group without a piano or guitar,or other harmonic instrument, places a bit of onus on the saxophonists. But as you will hear..."it's full enough" !!! I promise you will not miss ANYTHING...It is true, this has been done before,by Gerry Mulligan,Elvin Jones,Charles Mingus, just to name a few.And the 'idea'started in Sherman's mind because of the group Eddie “Lockjaw"Davis & Johnny Griffin had in the 60's,and the Charles Mingus Band with Eric Dolphy & Ted Curson and of course...Dannie Richmond, also of that vintage. But still...this is different.
