St. Louis, November 17, 2005 - Popular St. Louis vocalist, Anita Rosamond, prepares to deliver her first solo album with a fresh sound of her favorite song selections. An international and national singing sensation, Rosamond, has long performed for well-known and upscale clientele across the U.S. After six years in the making, the down home diva debuts Timeless at the newly reopened Busch's Grove on Clayton Road. The project is “authentic. It's my way of helping people enjoy themselves. I involve the audience, and help people getaway from the stress of life," said Rosamond.

Music Mix A blend of adult contemporary classics, Anita Rosamond leaps into the majors on her first solo album. Music connoisseurs enjoy the Timeless variety that caters to lovers of smooth and straight-ahead jazz. Not only does Rosamond balance traditional tunes with jazz's complexity, but she contributes two of her own compositions. On Take Him Home to Mama and In Your Arms, Rosamond conjures up clear vocal visions of the south. On other tunes, you immediately recognize Rosamond's spin on popular works from Dionne Warwick, Melissa Manchester, Cole Porter, Frank Sinatra, Irving Berlin, Stevie Wonder, Burt Bachrach, and Harold Arlen. Timeless is a potpourri of tunes with a multi-genre mix that pleases old fans and delights the new.

About Anita Rosamond One of nine children, Anita's parents bought their first piano when she was 12 years old. Two years later, she recorded her first album, and later recorded Dreams Do Come True with Roy Orbison while in Nashville. Growing up, Anita admits an attraction to the sophisticated style of Barbara Streisand and Melissa Manchester. Since then, she has appeared on multiple televised programs. Rosamond has been privileged to perform for a U.S. Senator, the Grand Palace in Branson, MO, and many other infamous locations in St. Louis.
