Tim Brantley’s Performance on The CW TV Network Airs on 200 Stations Nationwide

NYC FASHION WEEK Show Confirmed for 9/10 at Tommy Hilfiger’s in SoHo

Check out southern rocker Tim Brantley’s appearance on WGN-TV / CW Network. This solo/grand piano performance of ‘The Race’ aired on over 200 CW stations nationwide, including in New York, Los Angeles, Boston and Chicago. ‘The Race’ is the latest radio hit for Brantley, and the track recalls the cinematic, piano-driven storytelling of Billy Joel’s ‘Scenes From An Italian Restaurant,’ from “The Stranger.”

Here’s the full segment.

In other news, Brantley is confirmed to perform live in New York City on September 10th, at a special FASHION WEEK event at Tommy Hilfiger’s Bleeker Street store.

Brantley’s debut CD ‘Goldtop Heights’ has generated consistent, rave reviews, and has earned him comparisons to early Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Van Morrison, Billy Joel, Hall and Oates and Warren Zevon. He is a throwback to an era when musicians used distinct images and dynamic production to tell sweeping stories. His music takes listeners on a rock journey that evokes radio hits of the 1970s, when Todd Rundgren, Billy Joel, Journey and Fleetwood Mac were topping the charts with larger-than-life songs that told surprisingly compelling personal narratives.

In a recent ‘A-’ CD Review, Boston Herald critic Kevin Convey raved: “Brantley’s big-time debut comes roaring at you like an exploding time capsule of ’70s rock and pop, sound- checking such greats as Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen and Elton John without ripping them off…” “…give Brantley credit for being his own man - he’s written 10 winners, and not one of them sounds like anything else made lately.”
