Pablo Calamera, who oversaw technology development for MobileMe at Apple has joined Thumbplay as their Chief Technological Officer. In this newly-created position, Calamera, will have oversight of all technology initiatives for the company including Thumbplay Music, a cloud-based service that provides unlimited, on-demand access to millions of songs.
Thursday Launch
Thumbplay Music, which has been in invite only beta for weeks, is expected to open for public use on Thursday with a Blackberry application. iPhone and Android apps will follow.
