It's a little bit opera and a little bit R & B. It's a little bit jazz and a little bit Broadway. A regular visitor to Toronto, Marion J. Caffey returns with the Canadian premiere of THREE MO' TENORS.

“A JOYOUS CELEBRATION of opera, Broadway, blues, soul and gospel that BLOWS THE ROOF OFF THE HOUSE." Boston Herald THREE MO' TENORS, which showcases and celebrates the versatility of African-American tenors, takes the audience on a passionate journey that spans 400 years and almost as many musical styles including; opera, Broadway, blues, jazz, spirituals, gospel, soul and hip hop. THREE MO' TENORS was conceived and directed by Broadway director/ choreographer Marion J. Caffey. Mr. Caffey also directed and choreographed the award winning and critically acclaimed musical Cookin' at the Cookery (The Music and Times of Alberta Hunter) for CanStage starring Jackie Richardson.

“Three Mo' Tenors has just been added to my short list of 'The best shows I have EVER seen.' Mr. Caffey has skillfully directed a show with one incredible surprise after another. I could see Three Mo' Tenors 300 mo' times!" Brian Stokes Mitchell, 2000 Tony Award Winner

Ysis Entertainment Inc. (producers of the South African hit UMOJA) is proud to present THREE MO' TENORS and launch Classics in Black, a new arts series that showcases the finest Black artists in the classical arts. “The presentation of Classics in Black", states Lucy Hamlet, President and CEO of Ysis Entertainment, “furthers our mandate to culturally elevate our audience and expose the Black community and classical arts lovers to a wide variety of spectacular entertainment by Black artists."

“The threesome never hit a wrong note. The VOICES BLENDED AS SMOOTHLY AS BUTTER AND SUGAR ON A HOT STOVE." The Greenville (SC) News
