The Vault VIP, located inside the OC Pavilion, is pleased to welcome Alex Burke on June 15 starting at 8 PM. Once a basement vault for a large bank, The Vault VIP has been transformed into a plush lounge with hightop tables, leather sofas, intricate art pieces and romantic lighting.
Alex Burke's mastery of the vibraphone has featured him at popular jazz venues around Southern California. He has performed with jazz greats Chuck Hedges, Joe LaBarbra, Luther Hughes, Mark Massey, John Faddis, Randy Brecker, Chris Williams and Ira Sullivan. He has toured around the U.S. and internationally with famous Chicago-based theatre touring groups Second City and Improv Olympics. He has also participated in the Vincenza jazz festival in Italy.
Alex Burke completed his undergrad work at Columbia College in Chicago and his master's degree from the University of Southern California. Burke is co-owner of q6, a new music post-house located in Los Angeles and has scored countless works for commercials, television and films, including recent commercials for Nike. Burke will be performing with Barry Saperstein on drums and Louie Spears on bass. Signature cocktails, fine wines and international beers and light appetizers and desserts, including a Chef's selection of Artisan Cheese, are available for purchase. Entrance to The Vault VIP includes a $10 cover charge and a 1-drink minimum.
